The solar wind hit Earth’s atmosphere while I was out taking photographs. The classic green arc appeared below and around the Big Dipper, gradually becoming more intense and taking on a more yellowish hue. I also took the opportunity to photograph the few frost-damaged mushrooms I could find. Another beautiful night spent outdoors.
