TWAN utställning Doha - TWAN in Doha
TWAN "The World at Night" www.twanight.org fortsätter med sin succé och breddar sina utställningar världen över. Idag skickade Babak Tafreshi nya bilder från bl a Doha i Qatar http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doha där två bilder från Sverige visades upp bland många andra TWAN bilder. En bild syns i mitten där jag med familj sitter vid nedre Dalälven och kikar på en månnedgång samtidigt som Vintergatan börjar träda fram. Och den andra bilden nästan längs till vänster med månen och jordsken ovan Vallentunasjön. Vi i TWAN har för övrigt 5-års jubileum i år! Det är verkligen häftigt att se nya bilder av TWANare från hela världen varje vecka i vårt forum, häromdagen kom bilder från Svalbard :-) och tänk när Yuichi från Kanada visade bilder på sina sargade fingertoppar efter att fotograferat i -54(!!!) grader - och jag som gnällde vid - 34 grader.
Jag är fortfarande mycket glad och stolt att få vara med i detta gäng med fantastiska fotografer men framförallt brinner jag för TWANs syfte "One people - One sky"!

Ni kan skymta en bild från Sverige som jag tog på Gotland 2008.
Många av bilderna som ses i inslaget kommer att hänga på utställningar i Sverige.
Jag kommer att ha x antal TWAN utställningar i höst, tack vare Svenska Astronomiska Sällskapet där fick jag ett bidrag som gjorde det möjligt rent ekonomiskt att genomföra utställningar i Sverige.
Jag tar fram stora printar hej vilt just nu och bra blir det.
TWAN är heta internationellt, många bilder säljs utomlands, både till privatpersoner, tidskrifter och utställningar världen över.
Det skall verkligen bli kul att få visa upp dessa bilder för svenska folket!
